What to pack for children on a holiday by the sea

Yes, I don't have a toothbrush, yes, and where is the swimsuit? You certainly don't want to spend your time on vacation flying around stores looking for things that are waiting for you at home. Let's take a look at what to pack. Come on, let's go read.
1. Documents : Don't forget to take your health insurance card and, in the event of a trip abroad, your child's ID card or passport. Travel insurance is also important so that you are prepared for any unexpected events.
2. Sun protection : Sunscreen with a high factor of SPF 50 is a necessary element to protect the sensitive skin of children from the sun's rays. We have OUATE solar mist , which protects against UVA and UVB rays with a pure composition.
3. Headgear: Speaking of sun protection. We must not forget the head covering. A cap with a peak or a hat with a brim that covers the neck and protects the eyes from the harsh sun is great. If your kids can stand glasses, pack them too.
4. For swimming: If you are planning a vacation by the water, don't forget to bring a swimsuit . Preferably those with a UV filter. You can also add a bathing suit with UV protection to the swimsuit, which protects children even in the water. We always take 2 swimsuits, because boys don't like to be wet. We have shorts and one for the body, because somewhere you can't wear shorts to the pool. For little girls, I would bet on two-piece and one-piece swimsuits, and for the smaller ones, only panties . Also consider water shoes , which will protect your children's feet when walking on rocks or in the sea. Don't forget a practical poncho , ring or sleeves.
5. Diapers and wipes: I always carried 10 more diapers than our daily consumption. And we had 2 packs of napkins. But don't worry, this can always be bought without a long search. Pack a changing mat with you.
6. Clothes: Some people pack minimalistic and some people pack according to how big animals their children are. And that's why I know that we have t-shirts for every day. I take half as many shorts. If we're going to the beach, we have one sweatshirt on the plane and 1 in our suitcase. So are pants/sweatpants. See the full list for the week below.
7. Children's first aid kit: Carry necessary medicines for children your age, such as pain or fever medicine. Rehydration solution, diarrhea medication. I also recommend probiotics , plasters, Betadine - a disinfectant that does not sting. Scissors and tweezers. With which you can pull out your eyebrows, but you can also take out a splinter. I recommend taking your favorite repellent and Panthenol for burns. Always consult your pediatrician about which medications to take with you.
8. Children's cosmetics: Pack children's shampoo , soap/shower gel, toothbrush, paste and sun cream. For children in diapers, don't forget the cream to prevent bed sores . You can have everything for these little ones packed in a small bag for diapers and cream, which will also serve as a changing pad . I often forget the comb, and for the girls throw in rubber bands and clips .
9. Swaddler, stroller, carrier: For small children, a swaddler must not be missing in the suitcase. You can use it as a blanket, a towel, a sun screen. The stroller is clear and if your baby is used to a carrier, take it with you. Even on the plane, where you can carry him in a carrier better.
10. Toys and books: What would a holiday be without fun? Don't forget to pack favorite toys and books for children to play and enjoy during travel and free time on vacation. When they have their toys close at hand, they won't be bored for a minute. Here you will find toys for the beach and then coloring books , markers , crayons , cards and games for confiscation.
11. Drinking bottle and snack boxes: don't forget here. Hydration is key. The Liewood collapsible bottle is great for travel. We had her on the plane. Before check-in, it was folded empty so that it wouldn't take up space, and then we filled it up. If you are not going to the hotel, be sure to take a snack box with you on the way. The stainless steel ones proved to be good for us, as they keep the snack colder.
12. Nice to have – a night light that we bring to the boys wherever we go. It lights up with and without a cable.
